DAY CARE SERVICE
The Three Trees has two day care places available to individuals with a learning difficulty who elect not to access a larger day care service and wish to participate in the daytime activities offered by Three Trees to the residents. Participants should have sufficient mobility to move around the ground floor area and access vehicles.
The service is generally available on weekdays from 9:30am through to 3:30pm and at other times by arrangement.
This service offers personal care and supervision mainly to a client group of adults most of which are below retirement age.
Clients can access a range of opportunities and we run small groups offering:
Complimentary Care, Relaxation class, Gentle Exercise, Movement to music, Various craft activities, Group projects and Varied Film and music selection
We have training units with facilities that provide opportunities to develop social and other life skills such as simple meal preparation.
Computing and IT equipment is available to develop skills.
The home has transport to assist with escorted outings to the local shops, parks and entertainment. Each client has an individual assessment to identify areas of interest etc. A programme is put together with the client to determine how best to access the opportunities available and this is reviewed every three months.
